Regular quarterly concerts with our full band held in the beautiful St James's Church in Hampton Hill, Middlesex

Join us for a series of special events in 2026!
Friday 24 April -Monday 27 April 2026
Location: Walk through historic Ypres; reflect at Tyne Cot Cemetary and visit the famous Essex Farm Medical Dugouts (Captain John McCrae and "In Flander's Fields").
Musical concerts in Dentergem and then in St Martin's Cathedral, Ypres and a short performance at the Menin Gate Last Post ceremony on Sunday evening.
Enjoy traditional potato waffles, exquisit chocolates, frites-avec-mayonaise, and 15% Trappiste beer as well as a relaxing visit to Bruges on the last day.

Chestnut Sunday
The horse chestnut trees in Chestnut Avenue bloom in the late spring. Every year, on the second Sunday in May, a celebration is held in the park known as Chestnut Sunday. This tradition dates to Victorian times when thousands of people would flock to the park to see the ‘candles’ of chestnut blossom.

MIDDLESEX YEOMANRY ASSOCIATION EVENTS
From a solo Last Post trumpet to the Full Band at official dinners
For memorable Middlesex Yeomanry Association (MYA) occasions commemorating our distinguished Regiment we provide a solo trumpeter to play the Last Post, and on request we provide a small or large Band for official dinners in London.
We can also provide an expert trumpeter to play at other Remembrance services not linked to our Association.
Some of the events we have supported include:
- Remembrance Ceremony in Gallipoli, Turkiye for the 2015 Centenery
- The Annual Major Lafone VC Memorial Services held in October at St Pauls Cathedral, London
- Remembrance Ceremony and Last Post at Brookwood Military Cemetary
- Remembrance Ceremony at the Battle of the Somme in France, 2018
- Lafone Day Dinner 2017 held in London at the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers.
- Remembrance Ceremony at Caen for the June 6th 1944 Normandy Landings.
- Annual Dinner held in London of the Middlesex Yeomanry Association and the Princess Louise (Kensingtons) Association.
