Who is Judy?

Judy played classical piano to grade 8 at school but took degrees in mathematics.
She took up the clarinet in her mid thirties while still teaching maths and played a great deal of classical chamber music.

musical Career

Early work
With children at home teaching was reduced to home coaching and when her elder daughter started Junior School found herself helping out with the school orchestra.
Breakthrough
Judy's own school education then took me on a path of mathematics and classical piano and it was some years before Judy joined the band. This led to part time instrumental music teaching.

When the school windband needed a percussion player Judy got in touch with the local concert band and was encouraged to play at their next concert. Since then she has never looked back.
